'Music designer', what’s this?
Something like music for your eyes and film for your ears.

In recent years I made films – silent films – accompanying live performances of music of classical composers such  as Berlioz, Schumann, Debussy, Richard Strauss…

How to call this activity?

Sometimes a live stage performance by actors was also part of the show.

I called it once 'concert en images', a concert with images.

The silent films were made by me, but I also sometimes used real and existing silent films, which were accompanied by an existing score: for instance the Shostakovitch , the Satie and Cage projects.
